Beautiful day to fish. Got out on the water a 6 am in canoe at bridge. Trolled minnows and cast raps in 8-12 feet of water on outside of reed bank. Caught 16 pike 2-3 lbs and 2 walleye 2 lbs in 8 hrs. Released all but one of each.

Caught 14 jack ranging from 2 lbs. to 6 lbs. in just under 4 hours beside the bridge. I'd say right now is a great time to go!

Water level is extremely high. Marina is under water. Fishing wasn't too bad. They seem to be deep in the weeds, about five feet.

Causeway and Bridge are partly underwater, had to stand in the water to fish until the RCMP told us that we were not allowed to fish there because it was dangerous...if you are planning on going fishing here this year shore fishing is almost out of the question.
