North West bay area launched from the reserve side. Caught a 14" Wally in 11 ft. of water. Go Deeper, find 30+. Sat there all day in a few places up to 20 ft deep didn't see any fish on cameras. Talked to locals who say there is something Going on with the numbers. Anyone know what could be causing the decline.

Couple secret spots... Caught 12lb pike in one and it was attacked by a bigger one. Lots of keeper walleye too, trolling bottom bouncers and jigs no keeping caught 7-20 with 5 people. Also 15lb pike in 4ft. It's been our best spot forever. Very weedy and lots of small Jack, they are getting bigger each year. Some non weedy spots with walleye. Big pike all in one little area. 10 by 10 square. Monsters in that little hole, broken leaders and lines. And a 15 pounder.

Keepin up with viewers on the lake. Not there right now, wanna catch pike in summer? Shallow weedy waters, not to many above 5lbs but you will catch small ones with no effort using jigs.

Fishing is still onfire! Caught 30 walleye and 2-4 Pike. A few pretty nice but lots of small ones in deep water. Lots of action!

I have some questions... Are there Whitefish, Trout, Greyling and perch here? Also there are Suckerfish here, found a dead one and I've seen some caught in minnow nets. And some spots here are on fire.

2 days ago I caught a 12.2lbs pike! In around 5 feet of water in the weeds. 38.5in or 98cm. We are just finding good spots, every day catching around 20 in 2 hours.

Excellent Fishing on the whole lake pike and walleye

by Bentone on Feb. 24, 2013
I believe with the recent flooding in the lake, the fish population has decreased substantially. The fishing, even though it has reduced limits, has dramatically declined.
